First, a stop at the renowned winery ‘Kolios Vineyards’ for tasting some of the best wines, including indigenous Cyprus grape varieties such as Maratheftiko and Xinisteri. Then, passing through valleys you will reach ‘Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery’. Set in wonderful surroundings, this Monastery, dedicated to ‘Our Lady of the Golden Pomengrate’ was originally founded in the 12th century but the present building dates to 1779. The Monastery has a collection of important icons and Byzantine treasures. Within only a short drive from the Monastery, the Almyra team will be preparing for you a delightful Barbeque lunch in a perfect setting at ‘Monashilakas’ Forest.
