Following an extensive two-year renovation of the Paphos Beach Hotel, the town’s first ever seaside hotel which first opened in 1972, Thanos Hotels launched Almyra in June 2003. All the rooms have been enlarged and redesigned, and the signature suites, aptly named Kyma Suites (meaning ‘wave’ in Greek) feature rooftop terraces, candle-lit at night, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the harbour.

The property’s four freshwater pools include one especially for children and one indoor pool. The four restaurants reflect the new philosphy of Almyra. The gastronomic restaurants offer a creative Japanese-Mediterranean inspired menu, specially created by our Executive Chef. Free WIFI internet is available throughout the hotel.

Families are an integral part of Almyra’s seaside resort philosophy. The hotel boasts a dedicated children's club and crèche with extensive facilities and special children's menus. Almyra's Baby Go Lightly service offers parents the opportunity to order every manner of baby item on-line in advance of travelling, saving plenty of space in their suitcase. And from Summer 2010, a Teens Club will be available to Almyra guests at the adjacent Annabelle.

New for 2009, Almyra has introduced a state-of-the-art Spa, AlmyraSpa, equipped with all the latest facilities.

Almyra Beach now has a new beautifully designed sunbathing area and access to the sea.  Complimentary beach services such as sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels are available for all our guests, and our service staff is at hand to assist with beverages.
