Celebrity Wedding At Almyra

With the growing media presence surrounding the celebrity influx to Cyprus, all eyes have been fixed on the Almyra Hotel in Paphos.

Media interest has been growing all week with rumours escalating as to why so many celebrities are arriving at the hotel.

Paparazzi have been swarming outside the hotel all morning, trying to get a glimpse of someone famous, with news agencies trying hard to infiltrate the heightened security around all of the Thanos Hotels since local sources leaked information about key celebrities staying at the hotel.

For the last week, dozens of Lorries, Trucks and Cranes have been busy delivering many containers, palettes, timber and scaffolding in preparation to what seems to be a very large project going on around the grounds and environs of the Almyra Hotel, with many construction workers erecting what seems to be a very large staging arena on the hotel grounds.

With the growing media requests for information, a statement has been issued stating, "We can confirm that the Almyra Hotel is currently fully booked by a single, large group of guests.

We are often asked to receive large group bookings and this is one of many we have catered for within the Thanos Group of Hotels. At this time, we must respect the wishes of our guests and our policy is not to divulge names or any other details as this information remains confidential. "

It has been widely announced in the press that there is a high profile wedding party staying at the Almyra Hotel and the large staging arena has something to do with the celebrations also hosted at the Almyra.

We have been told that an official press release will be released soon by Thanos Hotels.

Following the phenomenal success of the "Baby Go Lightly" on-line service launched in 2005, Almyra in Cyprus is continuing to blaze the trail in child friendly designer chic with the introduction of the Baby Go Lightly Cr�che.

A real rarity for a hotel cr�che in Europe, the Baby Go Lightly Cr�che is available for all guests aged from 6 months to 4 years, offering fun, supervised play and stimulating activities in a caring and welcoming atmosphere, under professional supervision.

Almyra has enlisted the expertise of a UK company, which has over 20 years of experience in running quality cr�che facilities in hotels, resorts and clubs worldwide and will operate the Baby Go Lightly Cr�che.

Nowhere is more perfect or geared up for babies and toddlers than Almyra; in addition to baby-friendly services offered as part of the wider Baby Go Lightly programme, the hotel also has a shallow swimming pool and outside play area, both shaded by billowing awnings on hot summer days.
